This section looks at views not featured in the original Wendover series, or even changes that have occured on the rest of the canal to Wendover

Bridge 5b was never featured in the original Wendover series, except as a fleeting glimpse in the view of the A41's Buckland Wharf crossing

This is the view of Bridge 5b from the previous series. Not much is it? The interesting thing is the trees on this side of the crossing have been cleared. On the other its the other way around with tree growth at full speed!

Bridge 8 was not shown in the orginal series so here it is! Its about mid way between the end of the Green Park concrete channel section and Halton camp, and its known as Hare Lane, or Rose, bridge

The playing fields at Halton Camp are adjacent to the canal. No view of this was featured in the original Wendover series

A different perspective at Rothschild Bridge. Having a wide angle lens this time enabled this picture to be taken of the bridge with milepost 5 in the scene

A nicer view of the setting at Halton compared to the one in the original Wendover series! Actually the previous pictures were taken in the winter, so less pretty of course

A colourful scene at The Wides

The dimunitive footbridge at Rail Crossing now has a number plate, even if its one of those stick on ones! Actually it appears that all the bridges had been given proper metal plates but some have disappeared

Feathered friends at Wendover! A harder edging has been provided just before the winding hole and better access from the side road has been made
